The Lenteney waterfall

Reserve the best place for a break in beauty

The Lenteney waterfall, our namesake, is without a doubt the gem of the area.

Taking a break here, you can choose to admire the beauty of the waterfall either from the path above it or from our
panoramic terrace reserved for the customers of our bar.

The Lenteney waterfall is born from a lake of snowfields of the Paramont group which descends foaming through the Derby Forest arriving at the little bridge where you can admire the strength where the water meets the Dora Baltea.

A preview of beauty

Our unique location in Lenteney (a hamlet of La Salle in the Aosta province) ensures a panoramic view of Mont Blanc and the waterfall which changes appearance depending on the changing seasons.

In the summer there is a constant background noise that lends a beneficial, relaxing energy; in the winter it freezes over, creating a sublime show that can only come from uncontaminated nature.

So you have just worked out where to sleep, in a Chambre d’hôtes halfway between Aosta and Courmayeur, for the best experience with an extra touch of enchantment.

Be the first to book one of our four bedrooms!

Much more than a bar

A relaxing break in natural beauty during your Val d’Aosta holiday

Greetings from Michela, Claudia and Camilla, mum and daughters, and owners of the new Bar and Chambre d’hôtes La Cascata.

Thanks to our love for the local area, passion for work and desire for others to get to know the charm of the place, we have decided to
open the legendary bar again, giving it a new look and making it a meeting place for locals and tourists of

Derby, La Salle and the Valdigne in general.

From breakfast to aperitif

We are open all year round from 7am to 8:30am (except Sunday when we open at 7:30am and Wednesday when we are closed) and offer excellent ideas for breakfast, cold buffet lunches, snacks and aperitifs.

At breakfast you can sample local products, such as yoghurt from a small producer, locally produced jams, as well as biscuits and our savoury dishes, with fresh cold cuts (of meats and cheeses from the area).

Our lunch menus offer various cold cuts and cheeses, sandwiches, focaccia, piadina, toasted sandwiches and salads, as well as a few cold dishes.

aperitif time we offer all the main cocktails, Spritz and beer or red or white wines to maybe accompany a tasty snack with a delicious tray of cold cuts and cheeses.

Any occasion to eat and drink can be enjoyed in our
enchanting terrace in the summer and inside in the winter, warming beside the wood fireplace.

Where you can have breakfast when the bar is closed

If we happen to be closed for the day while you are staying with us, we will leave you a voucher for a free breakfast in our partner bar, Morgex, just 5 kilometres from here.

Do you have any other questions? Contact us without obligation for further information!
